- Open JPG to PNG in Safari.
- Choose your JPG from Photos or Files.
- Tap Download when the PNG is ready.
- Find it in Files, under Downloads.

In Files, press and hold the image, choose Quick Actions, then Convert Image, then PNG.
Tips
- PNG files are larger than JPG.
- The PNG will not look better than the JPG. It simply stops further loss when you edit.
A common mistake
Expecting PNG conversion to remove blur or blocky edges from the JPG. It cannot.
